Clifton Presentation EveningOur annual presentation night is a chance to enjoy a good meal, socialise, get a look at what everyone actually looks like in civvies and maybe collect some of the silverware, medals and plaques on offer Details of the 2011 Club Dinner - Friday 20th January 2012 This year, our Presentation Dinner will be at the Marriott Hotel, Tadcaster Road, York. Tickets are priced £25 per person and your ticket includes full 3 course menu with coffee, plus bar and disco open until 1am. Review of the 2009 club dinner - Friday 15th January 2010 Once again held at the Pavillion in Fulford - thanks to all the staff for putting on such a great venue. Numbers were up on last year and everyone seemed to be having a good time....lots of silverware to give out, both competitive and non-competitive. Mark's Challenge Series becoming more popular than ever with an impressive 17 riders making 'Gold' medal standard The dinner was again organised by Stacey Eccles and she would particularly like to thank Kevin Scully for organising all the trophies, medals, plaques and certificates. Club President Bernard Turgoose for introducing the various sections, Paul Crane for organising and introducing the MTB awards and review, Helen Scull with the competitive awards and Mark Antrobus for the Challenge Series medals Our Guest Speaker was due to be former professional rider and now Team Director Cherie Pridham, unfortunately she was detained in hospital and sent her apologies, the text of her speech can be read here. Membership Secretary Billy Geraghty stepped into the breach at the (literally) last minute!
