Clifton Open Time Trial Series

Over the past 10 years, this competition has been well supported by Clifton riders. Nominated are a series of events, which mix both sporting hilly courses and standard distance Time Trials.

This Series of Events allows club members to sample a variety of sporting Time Trial hilly courses and is an ideal starting point for club members who wish to compete in Open Event Time Trials.

The Open Event Series started in 2002. Previous overall winners are Robert Osman, Nick Scull, Pete Skelton, Steve Savage, Nigel Goscinski, Jon Cocker, Claire Gilmartin and Heather Tuffs.

Qualification
The series comprises 8 events, which are spread from April to September. The 3 designated Club Championships at 10 mile, 25 miles & the Circuit Championship are all integrated into the series.

The points are determined by your respective field placings in the events, and are then totalled up to give an Overall Points Score. Each category winner is the rider who qualifies after completing 4 events with the lowest accumulated points total.

Entering Open Event Time-Trials, riders should be aware that a Standard 2012 CTT entry form must be filled out and sent to the organiser 14 days prior to the Event date. Cheques should be made payable to the promoting Club/Organisation.
