The club organises weekends away, monthly Sunday club runs, and Wednesday evening rides during the Summer months. We welcome new members of all abilities. There are a good mixture of males and females at the moment too. Sunday club rides usually venture to the local hills of the Moors, Wolds or Dales. Ride durations depend on time of year and weather, but usually include a cafe stop. There are usually two groups, a faster group and a slower group that might perhaps do a shorter route. The dates are also in the calendar and further information can be found on the forum.
Weekends away take place all year round and are a very good way to get to know the other club members. The destinations are varied and we normally stay in a bunk barn or even camp when the weather is nice. We also organise training weekends.
Summer evening rides are all within an hours travel of York, they are designed so you can leave York at around 6pm and are up to 2 hours in length. Please see the forum for details of the next evening ride. For more info contact Steph Fountain at mtb@cliftoncc.org
