The closing date for the Teesdale Mountain Time Trial (round 2 in our Open Event Series) is Tuesday 5th - entries must be with the organiser by then. You will need to send in a standard CTT entry form and U18's a Parental Consent form  as well. Club trip to the Howgills 12-14 August, we have booked the entire bunk barn - this is a joint MTB/Roadie trip with plenty of opportunities for both, lots of quiet hilly roads! There is more info on the discussion board here http://discussion.cliftoncc.org/viewtopic.php?t=3501 but we need to know ASAP so places can be confirmed. Please post to the forum or reply to this email if you want to go.

ROAD RIDES

Saturday rides from the Square

9am:
Training ride: non-stop group training ride approx 3 hours, see discussion board for more details.

10am: Club social rides with cafe stop

K ride: Malton. Out via Buttercrambe - Skirpenbeck - Bugthorpe - Kirby Underdale - Birdsall - Setterington. Total dist 63 miles (cafe @ 37miles). There are other route options at the top of Kirby Underdale.

Intermediate ride: Filey. Out via Howsham - Langton - North Grimston - Duggleby - Kirby Grindalythe - West Lutton - Foxholes - Hunmanby. Return via Flixton - Fordon - Thwing - Sledmere - Fimber - Thixendale - Leavining. Total dist 94 miles.
