Sports Science Clinic

In partnership with York St John University

York St John University, through it's specialist YSJActive department is considering developing a sports science support clinic for local performers in all sports. The idea is to help local athletes, giving them sports science advice and carrying out performance tests. YSJ are also looking to run seminars on different aspects of cycling; training with power; nutrition; weight training etc.

This follows on from a very successful series of evening workshops which YSJ previously ran with Clifton. Sports science, training strategies and sports psychology were all covered, and the testing lab facilities were made available to Club members to allow power testing and other work that made use of the very extensive, specialist facilties that they have there

YSJ have created a survey so they can get to know you and to find out what help you would like to see such a performance clinic provide, and what seminars or other activities you would like to see offered. Please download the questionnaire from the link below, complete and return to the email address given.
